A footbridge between milepost 97 and 98 on Highway 2 is useful for this pursuit.
The Cache name is really a cryptic message from which local rockclimbers worth their carabiners might make a deduction. This location is steeped in history both old and ancient. The route is about two miles round-trip. Be alert for rattlesnakes, however I’ve never seen one myself near this location. Although there is no need to enter the cave to find the cache, it is well worth while to have a look. A flashlight may be handy.
