The ruins of Deganwy Castle are so sparse that it is difficult
to imagine today just how extensive the castle was and the
important role that it played in the history of Wales. We suggest a
visit to the following website before you visit the actual
place.

Today the ruins offer a nice stroll off the beaten track and
some really fantastic views over the mountains of Snowdonia, the
Conwy Estuary, Llandudno, and the Great Orme headland
For reasons of safety, use the path that starts between
the two hills and goes up through the thicket of hawthorn
bushes. The coords. for the start of the correct path are N53 17.900
