Barnby to Coddington #2
This series follows the footpath from Barnby-in-the-Willows passing close to Newark Golf Club, through Coddington Plantation and on to Coddington.
A very pleasant walk at all times of the year. I have seen many different types of wildlife doing this walk over the years including deer and a wild boar in the woods. You will also see a very active badger sett between #6 and #7.
The series can be done starting at either #1 or #9. Parking is freely available in either village and the route is well sign-posted. Should you be thirsty or hungry there are pubs in both Barnby and Coddington that are good watering holes.
Each hide is different and a variety of containers have been used, some should be more challenging to find than others. One of the containers is big enough for TBs should you be needing to move any on.
Let me know how you found it in the logs and any difficulties you had but most of all enjoy the walk!
