The loop starts off in the picture postcard village of Shaldon and follows the estuary into Ringmore. It then climbs up onto the hills around the villages and affords some lovely views.
The walk is about 4 ½ miles long and starts off fairly flat with proper paths in and around the villages, but gets steep and very muddy at times when following the green lanes and the coastal path.
The loop contains a range of different containers, please be careful around Shaldon as this can be an area with a great deal of footfall and there will be plenty of prying eyes!
This is the final cache in the series - or first if you're doing it backwards! It was situated at the brand new Sea Scout Hut which opened in Jan 2016 but after being muggled I decided to move it a little way away from the hut. From here it's a short walk to the car park where a range of amenities are available for you to replenish your energy levels. There's even a small zoo nearby.
