Geocache Description:

A small geocache placed just off the path of a rather muddy trail. From the cache you can see a view of Machen and a blown over tree. The cache is placed in woodland managed by Natural Resources Wales (formerly Forestry Commission Wales) with their permission. wink

The cache is placed on a trail around the Rhyd-Y-Gwern Woods, measuring 3.5km. The cache is accessible at all hours but tripping hazards are near by and may be dangerous in the dark. There is no pencil provided but a log book is inside. You will have to leave the path for just a few meters and is near a tree. It is dog friendly and is in between caches 10 and 11 of the Llwyn Hir Trail, making it a quick and convenient cache find. The cache is placed in woodland managed by Natural Resources Wales (formerly Forestry Commission Wales) with their permission.
