Prague deserved more than one cache when I was there in 2002 – unfortunately it would not have been sensible to place a traditional piece of Tupperware in the centre of a city, so here is a virtual one. (There were none near when this was set!)
It could hardly be more central and a lovely spot on a summer day to spend a lazy hour over a plate of pasta and a glass (or two) of Pilsner or Budvar. Don’t forget to go to the other corner of the square on the hour!
It would be too easy to ask who is commemorated in the statue here but around are more recent memorials to heroes.
Originally I asked for two names which appeared with that of Josef Vrba on a memorial to two resistance heroes who were killed here at the end of World War 2 but the plaque has been removed while the Hus monument is being renovated.
To claim this virtual cache as found please upload a picture of you or someone with you standing on the 2 brass plates near the coordinates. If you're on your own then a picture of your GPS on the plates will suffice.
Found logs without an accompanying picture will be deleted.
By the end of August 2013 there had been 7376 finds and 2172 images posted.
