Rödsten Traditional Cache

This cache is a small film canister placed near an ancient monument called Rödsten.
Rödsten concists actually of three (not especially large) stones in the middle of a field. The stones are placed on top of each other. The stone in the bottom is painted red, the one in the middle is painted white and the top one is painted black. These stones have been painted by the people who have lived here for generations. An old legend says, that if the stones are not painted (at least every time the nearby barn is painted) the gods will make the nearby barn to burn down. The last time this happened was in 1920 when the barn was painted, but not the stones. This resulted in the barn being burned down to the ground later the same year.
