Selisoo Traditional Cache

[ENG] Selisoo is a bog dotted with pine trees, hollows and pools. There is a 9-metre high viewing platform and a small (empty) cabin on the shores of Lake Seli where you can seek shelter from the rain or, if you wish, spend the night.

You can camp or picnic at the start and end point of the hiking trail in the marked areas. The boardwalk is 4 km long in total, but you can do a 2 km circuit up to the biggest bog pool and back.

Cache is hidden a little bit away from the beginning of the boardwalk.

[EST] Selisoo asub Ida-Virumaal, Mäetaguse vallas. Selisoo on kõrgraba, mida ilmestavad rabamännid, älved ja väljakujunenud laugastik.

Selisoo all on hinnanguliselt 8 miljonit tonni põlevkivi, mis jääb Estonia kaevandusele eraldatud mäeeraldise piiresse.

Aare on peidetud matkaraja algusest veidi eemale, kus on kaevanduse settebassein ja künka otsas grillmajake vaate nautimiseks.
