Geocache Description:


This geocache has been placed by Somerset Wildlife Trust for our Routes to the River Tone Project.

Hankridge Riverside borders the river Tone and includes a lake for wildlife such as otters and bats. It is home to many birds, including kingfisher, mute swan, grey heron and reed warbler. In the river here you may find brown trout and salmon. You may also see butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies resting on the reeds around the lake .
