Geocache Description:

My 4th in the series of Caches in Wollondilly Sportsgrounds

The view from the Sportsground is the Railway Viaduct over Stonequarry Creek is a picturesque site located at the end of Webster Street, Picton, which also has some historic old houses.

It was built of sandstone between 1863 and 1867 at a time when John Whitton was responsible for railway construction in New South Wales. This excellent example of railway viaduct design is 84 metres long and has five arches, the highest measuring 30 metres.

Cache is now in a new location, just outside the sportsground due to damage from the flood a few months ago, its now in the bus shelter, its small There is also a Multicache nearby i recommend doing it while your here if you havnt already Please replace Cache exactly how you found it
