Geocache Description:

Most of this walk is on the Western Reserve Greenway Trail-a paved bike trail with no elevation changes. This is a suitable cache for families with children-you can walk, bike, roller blade, (and in winter ski and snow shoe) to the cache. Bring your dog (just remember there is no shade or water so plan accordingly). Park at N. 41° 46.343 W 080° 51.120-bathroom and refreshments available at this location.

Although finding this cache involves a walk, it is a straight forward and relatively easy cache. The reason I chose to place my cache in its location (rather than out in the wilderness which is my preference) is to introduce the Western Reserve Greenway Trail , Ashtabula County's newest (as of July, 2002) recreational playground. This paved bike path currently extends from Austinburg north (approx. 7 miles) to West Avenue in Ashtabula (City) and south of Orwell.

There is a lot of traffic on this trail so please use discretion when searching for the cache and please restore it to its "hiding spot" after you exchange items and sign the enclosed log book.

Please visit the other WRGT Caches Along this trail. Remember: Cache In Trash Out
