Sofie Chicken is 11 at the start of May and has asked us to organise a get together to combine 3 of her favourite things - cake, rounders and caching... So, all being well, and weather permitting, we'll try to recreate the fun, games, excitement and drama that was a 'Cheeky Game of Rounders' whilst also trying to fit in a cheeky piece of cake
Continuing the series of events started by Chris Teague and Dave Hartles, this is a spring time get together (Redditch Round[ers] Up) to help celebrate our first (non-CITO) event and the birthday of the youngest SOAPY chicken
Please join with us to help celebrate her birthday, have some cake, try to hit a ball with a bat and gain a smiley face on your caching map in the process
The 'official' Sofie's Snack 'n Whack event will be 1400-1500 hours on Saturday 7th May 2016, and whilst the event itself is only expected to last an hour, if the weather is nice, we might hang around longer
Bring cake, drinks, picnic blankets, toys suitable for a park, the sun, a big smile and lots of laughter
Arrow Valley Country Park is somewhere we continue to spend many a happy hour, throughout the year - additional waypoints have been set for adjacent free parking and the nearby cafe / toilet complex
