Hopping Over to the Lake. (5795ft).
This series of caches will will take you to up into the mountains of Mugla Province, it is aimed at geocachers with a sense of adventure. The tarmac road is quite good up to the village after the Water bottling plant and from then onwards up to the lake the adventure begins. What is a 13km journey for a crow from Köyceğiz is around 25-30km by car and 5800 feet (1750 metres) climb.
Sizi Muğla ilinin dağlarına götürecek bu cache serisi, macerasever geocaching oyuncuları hedeflenerek hazırlandı.Asfalt yol köye kadar oldukça iyi durumda. Su şişeleme tesislerinden sonra göle kadar asıl macera başlıyor. Bir karganın Köyceğiz'den 13 kilometrede uçabileceği bu yol, arabayla 25-30 kilometre sürüyor ve 5800 ayaklık (1750 metre) tırmanış gerektiriyor.
The best way to attempt this series is probably to try to get to the lake first and then do all the other caches on the way down, if anyone wants to add a cache to this series then please do and send me the co-ordinates and I will do the cache page and maintenance and add your cacher name as the hider. If you do place a cache can you also take an altitude reading to add to the page title. April to May will usually be the earliest you will be able to reach the lake by car, when we tryed in Jan 14 we could only reach as far as the Snow Line Cache, if you can get a 4WD even better because the journey does get quite interesting at times.

The spoiler pictures on the Pirate Trail caches should make life a lot easier when searching for caches, not sure how to with other smart phones but if you have an Iphone, get the spoiler picture on the screen and press the off button with the button on the front of the phone at the same time and it will take a picture of what is on the screen and save it to your photo gallery so you can access the spoilers at GZs without the roaming charges.
