Geocache Description:

This cache is one of several that make up the Bushland Beach Hillock Trail (BBHT) which compliments the Bushland Beach Walk (BBW) and the Bushland Beach Goicoechea Circuit (BBGC).

This 3.5km circuit combines wide bush trails and paved walkways and should take most geocachers around an hour plus searching time to complete.

Park at the end of Hillock Crescent (Western side) or Lionel Turner Drive (Eastern side) where the trail begins, or if your vehicle is of the 4WD variety follow the dirt track to make this a park and grab.

This cache is at the western start of the trail along Mt Low just after leaving the tarmac.

You are looking for a brown Sistema which contains a log, pencil and small swaps.

Bushland Beach is part of the Northern Beaches area. One of the fastest-growing suburbs in Townsville, Queensland. Fishing, swimming and water activities are popular and at low tide you can walk to an old wooden shipwreck. The beach is well serviced by a small shopping complex, a pub, playgrounds, skatepark, barbecue facilities and a boat ramp. The ridge running along Goicoechea Drive is popular for exercise and provides stunning 360 degree views from Cape Cleveland to the Palm Island Group and inland towards Mt Stuart.

Congratulations to Frullet for being the FTF.
