Welcome to the Bay County Conservancy geocache trail!
At this preserve, located in downtown Panama City, you will hunt for one of five geocaches that will lead you on a sort of "geocache trail." As you travel to each of the five preserves- which can be found at baycountyconservancy.org or under a search at geocaching.com containing "BayCountyConservancy"- you will find a different stamp and colored inkpad, which you may use to stamp the back of one of the informational bookmarks included in the cache. Sign the log, stamp your bookmark, leave something if you like, and then continue on to another cache.
This cache is located in the beautiful Mary Ola Palm Preserve, located in downtown Panama City, FL.
*This preserve is only available to the public during daylight hours*
Nestled into the historic downtown, the Palm Preserve is a beautiful place to relax, enjoy lunch, or observe local wildlife. There is a picnic table, two benches, a small wood-chip trail, and two native wildflower gardens, all of which are open to the public..
Please come out and enjoy the space, and good luck finding the cache!
This is a high-traffic area, so beware of muggles! The placement of the cache can be seen from all sides of the preserve, as well as the open road.
