This a puzzle geocache. The cache is NOT located at the posted coordinates; you have to solve a mathematical puzzle to determine the physical location of the geocache.
To solve for the coordinates, you need to find a ten-digit number that uses all of the digits from 0-9 once that also meets each of the following criteria:
- The third digit is the number that falls halfway between the sixth digit and the eighth digit on a standard dartboard.
- The sixth digit can be written in Roman Numerals using a single letter.
- The seventh digit is neither prime nor square.
- The second digit is odd and less than the ninth digit.
- The first digit is equal to the sum of the sixth digit and the seventh digit.
- The fifth digit is the number that comes next in the following sequence: 49, 36, 25, 16, 9, __
- The eighth digit is a positive square number.
- The tenth digit is the number on the opposite side of a standard dice to the third digit.
Once you have solved for the answer, assign A as equal to the first digit, B as equal to the second digit, C as equal to the third digit and so on.
The coordinates of the cache are as follows:
N 55° 4(C+F).D(B+G)E W 004° 1H.(B+J)IA
Please note: At the final location, you can access the cache from the pavement.
