9-Year-Old's Giggle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LFLibrarian: I have decided to let this one go.... it disappears too often. Maybe a new cache can sprout in this area. It's got some interesting public art!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a stretch of the Centennial Trail that passes through Spokane's scenic downtown Riverfront Park. It's a pesky nano hidden in the first place a 9-year-old boy would look. No need to leave the trail. This is a high-muggle area: difficulty is higher because stealth is needed! Please replace exactly as found!

Spokane's city center is fortunate to have a beautiful river, complete with falls, passing through the center of a scenic park. Few cities can boast such beauty. The Park also is home to a fantastic collection of sculptures and other art installations. A sculpture walk brochure, found at (visit link) , is well worth the time!

Recently the section of the park near this cache was improved. Improvements included a new set of sculptures tied together by a stunning decorative guardrail. Placards have been installed with details of local history. The result is a delightful stroll by the river, with much to see, learn and enjoy. These sculptures don't yet appear on the sculpture walk tour--with luck a new version will come out soon.

Cache coordinates will lead you to a particularly nice sculpture. No need to go near the river, or leave the trail. The river can have fast currents here, so stay out!
