Geocache Description:

Web-ling #39
This is a virtual cache, meaning there is no physical cache container. Instead, look for the clues to determine the password. Located in Tremont Fountain Park in Upper Arlington. The park is within walking distance of my mother-in-law's house.

Look for a small plaque that gives the following information:

1. What is the last name of the person for whom the ORIGINAL fountain was dedicated?

2. In what year was the ORIGINAL fountain dedicated?

The password to claim this cache is the last name, in lower-case letters, followed by the year. For instance, if the last name is Jones, and the year is 1902, the password would be jones1902

Once you have the password, email me your geocaching name and the password to verify your find.

Alternate verification method added 11/9/2008:
If you prefer, you may verify your visit by posting a photo of yourself by the fountain, sticking out your tongue. Make sure the small plaque is NOT in the photo. Email is not necessary if photo of yourself (and tongue) is posted.

If no photo is posted, and I do not receive an email, I reserve the right to delete your log! As with most virtual caches, you are expected to PHYSICALLY visit the site to log a find. Internet searches and other 'remote' methods of locating the information do not qualify. Also, no "retroactive" finds based on visits before the cache was created.
