Settler's Ridge neighborhood sits high on the bluffs overlooking the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area, 150 feet above the Minnesota River Valley. The beauty of the area compelled many writers and artists of the 19th Century to record their impressions. Elizabeth Fries Ellet described the landscapes, along with the types of transportation she used, as she toured Minnesota and wrote about it in her book published in 1853.
Park hours are 6 AM to 10 PM daily. Please stay on the trails in this conservation area, don't bushwack.
