At this point, phase 1 is complete with the synthetic turf field and bleachers in place, several grass fields, large paved parking area, a 1-mile paved walking trail, a playground and a loop dirt trail in the woods.
It's best to seek this one between dawn and dusk, although the park may be open later when games are played on the lighted synthetic turf field. This is a nice sized lock and lock container which has been placed in the middle of the wooded loop trail.
From the marked parking spot, follow the paved walking path to the marked trailhead. Go across the bridge and up the hill and take the first trail to the left for a shorter hike or take the path to the right- either way, you will loop around the cache and make your way into the woods at ground zero.
At this time, the woods are mostly clear and the path is brand new/ still in process. Right now the cache is easy to get. The terrain may change with the seasons. The trail is a bit muddy when it rains like on the day we placed this one. I doubt you will need the hint, but I have given one just in case.
