If in a car park on the road anywhere along where indicated. The fuente to the west on the road is potable and a few metres further is a (very good) bar where other drinks and food are available (closed on Mondays). Enter the path by the trailhead, see how the water is cleverly divided between different channels. (This is the interesting thing - well I thought so.) Then walk up to the alberca (pond) and along the path above the road to the cache.
To get to the next cache, Elefante 2 Debajo Mecinilla - Below Mecinilla GC6FBQE , walk (or indeed drive) west along the road past the bar 'Cueva de la Mora Luna', turn left at the t-junction and straight ahead to Bar Aljibe (another very good bar).

La fuente hacia el oeste en la carretera es potable y unos metros más adelante es una (muy bien) bar donde otras bebidas y alimentos están disponibles (cerrado los lunes). ** This valley, the lower part of La Taha, is a particularly lovely area. It is presided over by the mountain across the river to the south, the proper name of which is 'Corona', but which looks rather like a sleeping elephant. Its head is to the left with a clearly marked ear - use your imagination! So this series is called 'Under the Elephant'. See the bookmark list Debajo el Elefante - Under the Elephant. It celebrates the several villages in the valley and with some pre-existing caches outlines a nice circular walk. The full walk takes about four hours, not including stops for refreshment and caching. Especially in hot weather you should carry water; there is none between a few hundred metres east of Ferreirola and Fondales. There are several shorter walks possible staying on the north side of the river.
