Geocache Description:

Miami Whitewater Park. Take I-74 to Rt. 128 north to Mt.Hope. Follow park signs to the Badlands's trail. Parking is obvious.

This is the first cache placed by the Coldhardcachers. This park was chosen for it's scenic beauty, well groomed trails and unique geological formations. The trail is a well groomed gravel path with many sturdy foot bridges. The three star rating for terrain is only warranted due to a few moderate inclines while on the trail and short sharp elevation changes while off the trail. Visibility is good due to limited low-lying vegetation, but terrain features make it nearly impossible to see the cache site from more than fifteen feet away thus demanding a two star difficulty rating. When placed, the cache contained the following:
Playstation game, squirt gun, slinky, magnetic travel game, furbie, star sunglasses, magic sand wand, ruler, address book, assorted stickers, assorted tattoos, assorted keychains, inspiration book, luggage tag, orange peeler, old maid card, warm fuzzie, travel salt/pepper shaker, silly putty, seashell whistle necklace, beaded bracelet, matchbox firetruck, party button, and a COLDHARDCACHER $1.00 bill.

Please log into the book and take a picture. Be sure to log the frame number. There is also a set of emergency batteries.
