GSHNC received its charter in 1935 and today, serve a membership of 19,000 girls and adults in eight counties in North and South Carolina. 1. Stand at the posted coordinates, think about sunrise and sunset, and face west.
2. Next go to the gray sign you see to the right.
3. Follow the arrows on the sign until you find a tree planted in memory of Carla Dykstra.
4. Turn around and face the flag, don't forget to salute, and your Promise. Now walk to the sidewalk and turn right.
5. Follow the sidewalk and turn left as soon as you can.
6. Go as far as you can and look down low behind some prickly leaves. You will find what you seek.
