Being a canoe guy where else would I place my first caches except along a river? This cache is one of a series of eleven caches placed along a nine mile stretch of the Willimantic River. There are four different access points so you don’t have to do all nine miles at once.
This cache is in the lake so it is not depended on the river level and can easily be accessed from the last parking coordinates.
This cache is a green matchstick container hanging from a branch on the side of the island away from shore. It is on one of the branches that are furthest out over the water and is accessible from a boat. Bring your own pen or pencil.
