Carinthias 1st - Dobratsch
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The Dobratsch (or Villacher Alpe) is 2166m high and can be reached by a 16.5km long mountain road in best condition.
The multi-cache consists of two caches of equal boxes. The first can be easily found (near the main way at approx. 2060m) and reveals the coordinates of the second. If you want to reach the summit, do this after finding the first cache (+ half an hour). For the second cache return to the plain at the parking area, then turn right (to the south). You have to be free of giddinness to find it, because it is very scenic (1545m).
Due to the recommendation of the first two finders I raised the terrain rating to 4! But the cache is makeable WITHOUT special equipment (i.e. rope) within one day!
