Geocache Description:

We are having a CITO Event around Minnequa Lake.

Come get your 2016 CITO souvenir. We will meet at the posted coordinates at 10:00am. Once everyone arrives and signs the log, we will take a group photo, followed by a brief safety meeting and head out to pick up trash. Trash pickup will last for approx. 1 hour. If anyone feels the need to continue longer, we won't stop you. Trash bags will be provided by Parks and Rec. Please bring gloves, wagons, etc., anything you would like to bring to help the cause. Please dress appropriately for grass and brush and sun. Please take the CITOing part seriously. This is our chance as geocachers to show the community what we can accomplish and further good relations. Not to mention do some good for the environment. Everyone involved in actual CITOing (picking up trash), will be entered into a drawing for our last GOLD GCCO 2016 Royal Gorge coin. Upon returning from trash pickup, when you turn in the trash you've collected, you will be entered into the drawing. Once everyone has returned, we will take another group photo with all of the trash we've collected. Then the GOLD coin drawing will take place. All of this will be followed with a general meet 'n' greet with lunch provided by King Soopers. Special thanks to Parks and Rec., King Soopers, and the GCCO.
