Geocache Description:

Below is all the history i found on the church however if you can find anything eles feel free to let me know :)

Gosport Methodist Church is situated on Stoke Road in the heart of Gosport. Gosport is a town with an important naval history and a number of naval establishments are still operating within the town. Our church was rebuilt about 15 years ago so, although it looks traditional on the outside, the interior is modern and has been designed with a view to community use. A number of community organisations operate from our building. Fire In 1989 our church suffered a disastrous fire that almost completely destroyed the building. It was later rebuilt, retaining the original shell but completely remodeling the interior to provide facilities that would be of more benefit to the community.
