A very small quarry in the woods
Once you have visited Capt. Eleazer Clark, then head west towards the causeway. The trails are not marked and they do peter out. So you will bushwhack through open woods. At the cache these stones look much like those used to create fences around cemeteries and hitching posts. Note the small quarry hole near the stones. Though no hunting is presently allowed on this property, there is hunting on the abutting property a few feet from this cache. So wear bright orange from September to January.
