Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along the County Line Trail in northern Wayne County.  You are looking for a micro container (about film canister size).

In 1908, new trackwork was done in Sterling.  Something didn't get done quite correctly.  On October 13th of that year William Howard Taft was campaining to be president.  His campaign train was headed towards Cleveland when two train cars derailed.  One of the cars held Taft and his campaign party.  As the crew worked to get the train back on the tracks, Taft took the opportunity to speak to the crowd that gathered around the derailed train!
