A park and grab in old Bowness
In 1945 the owners of a nursey also opened a corner store. People no longer had to make the one hour trip by street car to Calgary for basic foods.Through 4 owners and 3 name changes it survived until the floods of 2013. The building was torn down. It gladdened our hearts when the sign went up and work started on the replacement building.
