Simple cache in the middle of some nice farmland. So what's so special about this place? Nothing much at first glance but if you examine it on a map or satellite you will see that from this point (actually the intersection about 140 m to the NW but there is no place to hide anything there) the roads and the farm fields are orientated in three different directions.
This is the point where (the most northern extent of Waterloo County) three separate land surveys meet. Land to the east (Wellington County) was originally surveyed relative to the Lake Ontario shoreline. Land to the south (Waterloo County) was surveyed relative to the Lake Erie shoreline and land to the north and west were surveyed relative to shoreline of Lake Huron.
