Welcome to Sensory Park - home of the Narara toddler’s bike track! An ideal spot for children aged 1-6 yrs to come ride their bikes and scooters. Featuring a winding concrete path, a grassy walk maze, and a long wooden bridge to ride over, it will keep kids busy for hours. It is also a fantastic meeting place for groups to join together as there is plenty of space to spread out under the trees with a lovely picnic, and there are toilets near the skate park on the other side of the road too. Your pooch can come too and go nuts, bolting through the new fully fenced off-leash doggie park at the northern end of the bike track.
Our two geokids love to ride their bikes as, after all, it’s the closest to freedom a kid can get right? Just a few days after moving to the central coast we were invited to a large meet here. We could never have expected how the acquaintances we and the kids made that day might galvanise such that in the years to follow, friendships would fasten into such wonderful relationships.
With the many subsequent visits and group picnics we’ve enjoyed here, both the kids ultimately abandoned their training wheels and rode unaided for the very first time – right here in this park. So it certainly holds a special place in our hearts.
To commemorate this park, we felt it would be fitting to place our very first novo GC right here on the bike track. It is a micro and is located within a few metres of the posted co-ords right on the wooden bridge. At weekends you’ll need to be especially aware of the many toddler muggles enjoying the track and using the bridge, including the trolls on foot!
Please go easy when logging your find on-line so as to not inadvertently (or otherwise!) add any spoilers and please do not post any pics of any part of the actual container. The cache is a ‘log only’ containing a small stubby pencil but it’d be a good idea to BYO writing implement. Once you've found it, the lid screws off. Please don't over tighten when replacing.
