Geocache Description:

Join staff from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Savannah Coastal Refuges Complex on Saturday, April 30!

We'd love to bring local geocachers together to meet, discuss, and plan for future geocaching events and programs.

Who? You!

What? We're hoping to have local geocachers come together to help plan a geocache program for the Refuges here at our Complex.  This event is about meeting each other, discussion geocaching options on federal lands, working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to host geocaches or events, and give everyone a chance to meet staff and other local cachers.  Plan on a short discussion and presentation about geocaching at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Wildlife Refuges, a Q&A, and more discussions about what we can do together

When?  Saturday, April 30, 2016, 10am-1pm

Where? The Savannah Coastal Refuges Complex headquarters: 694 Beech Hill Lane, Hardeeville, SC 29927 (Coordinates listed)

Why?  Why not?  We're excited to work with geocachers to come up with ways to promote the game, while working within the restrictions of federal regulations.

After the presentation and discussion at the visitor center, we'll take a guided, behind-the-scenes tour of Savannah National Wildlife Refuge's Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive.  We are limited to 20-25 seats on the tour wagon, so please include the number of people in your party who would like to go on the tour in your "Will Attend" log. The tour will be first come, first served for spots on the wagon, but everyone is welcome to visit the wildlife drive after the meeting in their own vehicles.
