Just north of Segmon is a lovely lake called Sävsjön which has a wonderful trail very close to the lake side.

We found a cache here some years ago which is now archived so I decided to replace it but also start a trail of regular size caches. We emptied out all the kitchen cabinets of various plastic containers and put in lots of kids toys. Our kids are getting older so they did a big clean out of their rooms. Caches 1-7 are very easy and then 8-10 require a little fitness due to the terrain. You can continue the trail around the lake for another wonderful 5 km which I completed and it took me 1 hour and 20 minutes at a fast pace. Unfortunately the trail passes through some mossy terrain so good hiking boots are a must here. The lake has a dam at the eastern end which is at least 10 meters high so without this dam, the lake would not be here.
