Geocache Description:

In the Hawaiian language Kama'aina means "child of the land," or local. This cache was placed in honor of the local geocaching community. This cache is also a sticker cache to help spread the local flavor.

The GZ for this cache sits around Waucoma Basin, which many probably did not know. Locals call this site the Hook. Down this enchanting trail, you will find yourself surrounded not only by water and greenery, but wild life as well. Getting precise coordinates for this cache was difficult due to the dense foliage, but I'm pretty sure I got them right. Pens and stickers provided for swag. Please replace as found to keepit safe and difficulty level. Enjoy local cachers and those traveling!
