Lost Heritage - Port Germein
DRY WEATHER ROAD ONLY!!
Please do not chew the road up, locals will not be happy!
This one caught our eye today, due to the cuteness.
Plenty of these ruins in country South Australia
Usual questions pop into the head...
Why did they leave?
Was it too harsh to make a living
Were they bought out by a neighbouring farmer, whom didn't need another homestead?
What were all the outbuildings used for?
Please do not enter the property without the express permission of the landowner, as the cache is between the road and fence. Please also ensure cache is hidden from the road view. Thanks
