Geocache Description:

This one may be harder to reach at certain times of the year.  Otherwise, it's an easy grab.

For well over 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been creating tomorrow's leaders.  This area of Oklahoma is served by the Black Beaver District of the BSA.  Lawton has a regional service center a stone's throw from here that meets the needs of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and adult leaders.

What has been the Boys Scouts' contribution to geocaching?  In 2010, on the centennial of the BSA, it made geocaching a part of the celebration, with patches and trackable coins. Later that year, it created the geocaching a merit badge, opening up this fun activity to a new generation of youngsters.
