Geocache Description:

My first Geocache hide!
So excited to join in on the fun!

Follow these coordinates to the last remaining streetcar shelter in Minneapolis.

Take a trip back in time,
Sit on the benches and imagine what it was like to wait for a streetcar in the old days.
The shelter was built in 1937 and served as a pick up and drop off point for picnic-goes until 1954.
It was the last stop for that line.
How it survived all these years is any ones guess.

***Please do not climb on the structure.***
It's been around for 80 years and hopefully we can can keep for another 100.
I can guarantee the cache is no higher than your arms. **no, that doesn't mean it's up above :-) **

A manual wheelchair may find it hard to cross the grass but a motorized one should make it easily.
