Geocache Description:


Here you will find yourself at the base of Mt Cockatoo, beside the lovely Murrumbateman River. This Mighty River flows from the northern outskirts of the ACT all the way to Yass. (But surprisingly not through Murrumbateman). Usually a very peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by, but after heavy rain, it becomes quite a Maelstrom!
