Geocache Description:

A plastic heart, maybe half the size of the standard ammo box.  This is a travel bug hotel with a nice view of Hill Country from here and of Lake Marble Falls from the other end of the parking lot..  Be sure and check both viewpoints.

Used to be a lunch box cache on the highway with a nice view until somebody built a hotel and spoiled the view.  Lunchbox was getting rusty anyway.

So one Valentine’s Day I found some great tins on sale with chocolate inside, and, well, when the chocolate was gone I thought, “What a great idea for a cache!”

And then I was looking at my stats and wondering what challenges I already qualified for, and the one I had almost completed was the Alphabet challenge.  I had caches that started with each letter of the ABC’s except one:  X.  And I went looking.  I’ll find one soon.

In the meantime, for all you cachers in the same fix, X marks the spot!  xoxox

I've lost the 3 heart tins to muggles, but this is so cute, i had to replace it. Have used a decorated bottle, but also have collected heart-shaped containers. This one is really cool, and i hope it lasts a long time.

The log is inside the heart in it's own waterproof vial. The purple vial is clearly marked "log" and contains a pencil. Please leave the pencil and its sharpener in the cache. XOXOX!
