The viewpoint coordinates will take you to a corner of the graveyard at St James church Dadlington. A classic Norman Church built in the 13th Century with its own piece of history within the War of the Roses and the Battle of Bosworth. From this extremely poignant vista you will have a view over Ambion Wood to the flags flying above the Battlefield visitor Centre which commemorates this momentous occasion in our History. Additionally if you peer down the side of the pub you will be looking over the flatter land where subsequent investigations have suggested the battle was actually fought and King Richard was slain to bring an end to the War of the Roses. There has been much recent pageantry surrounding the remains of King Richard however this cache remembers the thousand men that also fell on these fields during the battle and their commitment to the red or the white rose.

To gain the coordinates for the cache you need to go to the starting coordinates and enter the church porch and on the right side of the door is a small plaque acknowledging the reopening of the porch on AB November CDEF.
