Laugh In Series- Very Interesting... Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Komikino: Well... I checked it out today and man... that place has gone down hill since I replaced it back in November. There used to be a nice trail going through there. Now it's just an overgrown wasteland.
I looked for the cache on the tree and it, of course, wasn't there. I was contemplating putting a replacement cache on the tree, but no. The neighbors there started putting their own plants beyond their property line and advanced to close to the cache hide. In fact, I am sure they might have removed the cache.
Oh well... It lived a good life and had a good run.
Thanks to all of you that found this cache over the almost 5 1/2 years it lasted.
Cache on.

Geocache Description:

This should be a pretty easy park and find. Parking is right off of the road.

A lot of people seemed to like my "Laugh In" based Geocache "1 Ringy-Dingy" so I thought I would keep up the tradition with a new hide.
When I watched Laugh In as a child, I was too young to understand the humour behind the show. I only laughed at the visual humour and slap-stick zaniness. I loved the Tricycle Guy running into things and falling over. The Joggers were a blast as well. My friends and I would try and guess which actor from the show was playing the Tricycle Guy and we were surprised to see that most of the cast played the role.
One of the actors from the show that we got a kick out of was Arte Johnson. I loved all the roles he played: the Tricycle Guy, the Old Man on the Bench ("Tyrone F. Horneigh") hitting on Ruth Buzzi, and the wacky, smoking German soldier named "Wolfgang". We always thought it was funny to see Wolfgang peeking out from behind the bushes and saying, "Very interesting... but stupid" in regards to his observations to the show.
As I scouted out this area for my newest cache hide, I noticed all the plant life in the area and thought it would be funny to see Wolfgang pop up from behind a shrub and say, "Very interesting..." and whatever comment about my cache. And with that, I had the title for my cache!
There is parking right off of the road so this should be pretty easy to get to. The cache is NOT on the overhead power line structure.

12/11/2016 UPDATE: I checked out the cache today and the container was fine but the logbook was really damp. I replaced the whole container with a smaller container. I jammed as many smaller trinkets into it as I could with a new logbook sheet in a baggie. All good to go!

02/21/2018 UPDATE: It turns out that the original GZ got turned into a dumping ground for abandoned cars. It was looking pretty sketchy so I placed the cache here along the nearby power line trail. The cache is hidden next to a drainage pond... with bushes that "Wolfgang" can peer behind.
There is a parking spot right off the road that makes it easy to get to (N 47° 48.8067 W 122° 14.0946).

11/15/2020 UPDATE: Looks like a recent trimming in the area mowed down EVERYTHING! Managed to find some little trees not too far away from the original GZ where I can hang a replacement. Coordinates have been updated to: N 47° 48.796 W 122° 14.110. I used one of the cache containers that I use for my "Recycled Cache" series.
