Geocache Description:

Hello Fellow Geocachers! Mt. Shasta Cachers will be entering a Geocaching themed Float in the Shasta Damboree Parade this year! This is a Mt.Shasta Cachers Event so remember to wear your Activated Members Button to be entered in the Members Only Raffle.

This event is for geocachers to come by and be a part of the parade float decorating. When the event is over you have the option of riding on the float if you would like to. We will also have a Team Spirit Contest at the end of the event and you could win a Trackable Award!

We are asking geocachers to bring:

  • A Geocache that they would like to display on the float. *The larger the better and the container will be returned.
  • Wear their Geocaching shirts and hats for team spirit. At the end of the event there will be a Team Spirit Contest. The most Flamboyant Geocaching outfit will win an Award.
  • Fake Trees.... Yes, if you have a fake tree or two we are short on shrubbery. LOL

  • Meet at posted Coords. and walk to float: 8:30 am

    Team Spirit Judging: 9:20 am

    Event ends and we wave good-bye: 9:30 am
