Route 88 - Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud! Traditional Cache

Sustrans Cycle Route 88 will eventually follow a coastal route from Caerleon to Margam Country Park near Port Talbot. At this point it passes quite close to the River Usk. The route is tarmac-covered and wheelchair/buggy friendly, although wheelchair-users would have difficulty with some of the retrieves.

If you are fortunate to be here during high tide, the Usk can be very picturesque. However, at low tide it is just a sea of mud. This is the closest cache to the banks of the Usk and there are some interesting views whatever the tide level.

Please replace the cache as you found it, so as to minimise the possibility of it being seen by accident.
