Geocache Description:

An ammo can at the remnants of a bridge that once passed overhead of the railway running beside the ghost town of Keppel.

PLEASE NOTE: The safe way to approach this cache is by walking to it from the GZ of "Where was Keppel", so that you do not cross the railroad tracks at the bottom of the gully.

Once upon a time there was a town named Keppel.  Keppel was built right beside and above a stretch of the Canadian Pacific Railway.  Railway went through a little gulley that bordered south edge of the town.  The town had three access roads.  The road from the north ran right through the middle of town and is now cropped over as part of the neighbouring farm operation.  The road from the west went to Keppel Road, a north-south road that is currently a hilly summer road that extends north to Provincial Highway 14.  The road from the east went to this little traffic bridge over the railroad to the east-west service road just south of the railroad.

Nowadays, Keppel is a ghost town occupied by ghosts travelling around on ghost streets and occasionally crossing this little ghost bridge and, perhaps, watching the trains go by.

You are looking for an ammo can that contains a log book, a pencil, and plenty of trade items.
Prize for First-to-Find is an unregistered travel bug.
After that, please trade fairly.

This cache is placed for the SCAR 2016 event. Please do not search for or post a log for this cache until after May 27th, 2016 at 5:30 pm.
