Geocache Description:

A gentle stroll up the road from #1

This time you are looking for a more tradtional, traditional hide.

It's at your feet.

This is a circular, well ok it’s more of an irregular polygon, of just over 6 miles which take in Weets hill and lots of local countryside.

The vast majority of the route is on well-trodden paths, bridleways and some road, though there are a few short sections across open moorland with invisible paths.

It is not suitable to be completed by bike, unless you don’t mind carrying it over several styles and through deep heather for a short while.

The route starts on tarmac road (1/2 mile or so) this is a very quiet road.  Once you leave the road at Weets farm, the terrain quickly becomes wet, rough and boggy, so wellies, boots or strong shoes are recommended.

You will climb three significant inclines of about 200m each but the views, if you choose a good day are spectacular in all directions.

There are several start points as indicated by the parking places suggested on the listing from #1 but if you want to get the puzzle you would be best to park at #1.

There are a few places where the route to the next cache is not obvious so I have placed waypoints for wall crossing and stiles, if you feel a little unsure look at the next number and see if there is something to help.

I have spoken to land owners about the placing of caches so there is no problem of access but at no point do you need to enter private property.

Most caches have one  or more of 10 numbers associated to the letters in bonus, you will need to collect these as you go round to get the bonus, it is not on the route, just in-case you were thinking of trying to work it out before you set off.

Finally, no caches are placed in dry stone walls, some are just over or next to but you do not need to move any stones to find them.

Happy hunting and enjoy the walk.
