Geocache Description:

The Cairnshill Football Pitches are in the middle of a residential area on the outskirts of Belfast. I often go round here to play football. 

The Cairnshill Football Pitches were formed in 1923 When 16 clubs from greater Belfast got permision from the IFA to make a league just for amatuer players.

The pitches consist of one full size pitch, changing rooms and a a car park. There is a lot of space to run arround on But it ca get very muddy so choose your footwear wisely. It can get quite busy in the afternoons as all the children are getting out of school beside the pitches.

The geocache is a small cylinder covered in black gaffer tape the cache holds inside a log. Bring a pencil.
