Geocache Description:

My kid likes Five Nights at Freddy's and wanted a cache named after a character in the game. Cache is not under a desk...

I hid a cache on 4/16 and wanted my child to hide one of her own on that day as well. We came to this park to find an open spot to hide her cache. This park has some sentimentality to us for caching because we found our second cache find here.
After finding a nice place to hide the cache, I asked her what she wanted to name the cache. She said, "Balloon Girl's Under the Desk!" To which I answered with a, "What?"

It turns out she wanted it named after a character from a game called "Five Night's at Freddy's". I guess Balloon Girl tries to capture you by hiding under a desk in the game. It's kinda funny because she doesn't play the game... she just watches other people play it in YouTube videos. I guess this cache can go with our "Five Nights at Freddy M's" cache since that is based off of "Five Nights at Freddy's" as well.

The cache is hidden in an old resident of this park that has obviously seen better days. Maybe Balloon Girl attacked this poor resident, or weather had it's way with it. It might take a little bit to get to the tree because of the plants and fallen/cut branches surrounding it. There is a park bench and table nearby so that might cause some muggle issues, so be aware of your surroundings! Please cover it back up and hide it when you are done! Bring your own pen!

This is in a park so please obey park rules and times. Thank you!

05/15/2016- Kicked up the Terrain Rating.

08/15/2016- Kicked up the Difficulty Rating since the tree is growing still and making new obstacles.

04/22/2019- It has come to my attention that there is a letterbox (Atlas quest) container located near my cache. To find my cache, you actually need to go into the wooded area and search the tree to find it. You have to step over fallen/cut down branches in order to get to it. It's not difficult... don't panic. The letterbox that people are signing is a Tupperware container located right outside the entrance to my cache, right under a log covered by some bark about 10 feet from the picnic tables. DO NOT SIGN THAT! That's not my cache.

10/17/2019- It seems that even though I have mentioned that there is a Letterbox (Atlas Cache) right near the entrance to where you enter to get to my cache, people are STILL signing the letterbox thinking they are signing my cache. I added a waypoint for the entrance/opening in the hedge that will lead to where you actually are supposed to find the cache.

05/03/2021- I remember when this was easy for cachers to find. Unfortunately, it became too easy for other people to findand has gone missing many times. I had to hide it in a spot that would be more difficult for the random muggle to find. So here's your straight up description of where to look:
Where the tree is split on top on the south side of the tree, there's a little pocket in the crotch of the tree. If the south side of the tree is 6 o'clock, look in the 7 o'clock position on the tree. It is covered by lots of moss and a rock.

08/22/2021- UPDATE! NEW LOCATION!!!! Please read this!
The tree, as much as I love it, is turning out to be a pain in the keister. It looks like all sorts of riff-raff are now going into that area where the cache was and creating a mess. There's beer cans and broken glass all over the place now. Heck, they have even started climbing the broken tree and ruined the spot the cache was hidden. So, I have now again moved the cache to a new location and one that actually kind of makes sense with the title of this cache. It has been moved to the picnic area right next to the tree! Read the hint for a clue where to look!
Also adjusted the terrain (not as tough now) and the difficulty (people might be having a picnic there).
