This is a bison tube placed to draw your attention to two Eagle projects.
Two Eagle projects were done at this site in the last 2 years. The walls surrounding the port-a-pots on the east and the walking bridge across the small stream on the west side of the parking lot were both constructed as Eagle projects by cousins working on their Eagle Boy Scout awards. They were both members of Troop 64. This parking lot is also home to the Brookfield Village Farmers Market which is each Thursday from June 5th thru Oct 9th. It is from 3 PM till 7 PM and I would not recommend looking for the cache during those hours. One of the requirements for a Scout to earn the rank of Eagle is to plan and supervise a project that benefits something other than Scouting. Both of these Scouts earned thier Eagle by planning and accomplishing these projects. They are both members of Potawatomi Area Council of the BSA. Potawatomi Area Council had 148 youth earn the Eagle award during 2015. It has been rated as one of the top 10 Councils in the USA for the last six years and is going for the seventh.
Permission to place this cache was given by the Village of Brookfield board thru Jeff Hansen.
