The backroads here will bring you to Rte 2 from a great picnic area, or the other way around, depending on your direction.

The Connecticut River Valley sure sends us to some interesting areas.  You can find the French King Rock, if you look hard enough.  This backroad may be closed for the Winter.  Please bring your own pen.
